Around Stockbridge

Interstate driving and Georgia weather.

Stockbridge sits along I-75 and I-675, so plenty of cars here rack up interstate miles at speed and then sit in traffic near the interchanges. High speed driving shows up in tires, wheel bearings and suspension. The traffic shows up in brakes and transmissions.

Summer storms bring heavy rain, and that is when worn wipers, tires and brakes all get found out at once. Hot days are when weak A/C systems give up. Electrical problems that come and go, a car that will not start on some mornings, or warning lights that flicker are the kind of fault a proper diagnostic is built for.

Questions

Stockbridge drivers, answered.

My car will not start some mornings. Can you find that?

Intermittent no-starts are what diagnostics are for. It gets tested with the scanner and live data, and the battery, charging system, starter and wiring get checked.

Do you do pre-purchase inspections for cars I find in Henry County?

Yes. Bring the car to the shop in Conyers and it goes on the lift, so you know its condition before you buy. Call (678) 851-1258 to set a time.

My A/C only blows cool, not cold. Can you just recharge it?

It can be recharged, but a low system means a leak. It gets tested for where it is leaking first, then repaired and recharged so the cold air lasts.
